Amadeus + EmDzej leave, Monday 6th of June by Zeager
- Sadly, Amadeus and EmDzej have informed us that they are leaving the clan effective immediately.
- While EmDzej made it clear he did not wish to continue his soldat career, no such statement was made by Amadeus.
- Soldiers Nightmare thanks the two for their friendship and the many hours logged in pointless SCTFL matches over the years.
- Best of luck guys, we will miss you dearly.

SCTFL 17 concludes, D4sh joins, Monday 24th of January by Zeager
- In response to the question posed in the last news item, the answer is: yes, absolutely yes.
- With a clan like "prkl" managing what so many deserving clans have not managed to do over 16 seasons,
- any belief in the existence of god or a higher power that in some way provides justice or solace has vanished.
- Luckily there are two pieces of good news as well: first of all, SN was in the final. Thats something, right?
- Secondly, we have a new member to present: D4sh, the half turk, half yank, half not good with fractions, whom
- we have been chasing after for a good long while now ;)
- So, one more time "officially": Welcome aboard mate, kick ass!

Worst SCTFL ever?, Tuesday Nov/09/2010 by Zeager
- SCTFL's 17th consecutive season has concluded its freeplay phase with a series of somewhat suspicious match reports.
- These allegedly "thrown" matches, however, were only the tip of a seemingly ever-growing iceberg of rule violations
- that occured this season. Only very gradually do these things - the use of aimbots being first among them no doubt -
- come to light now. Despite the efforts of volunteers and the community in general to provide demos for suspicious players,
- many hackers have yet to be caught, and the administration is likely working overtime to ensure proper playoffs
- after a freeplay stage that was nowhere near proper.
- Clan (SN) itself has had a mediocre season, that resulted in a freeplay rank of 14, which is 2 spots and 0.3 win-% lower
- than last season's result. The clan's hopes for a better performance had been thwarted not only by the absence of
- their top tier player Real Rook, but also by the fact that they had pinned considerable hopes on RealRook's countryman and
- pre-season recruit "Nitro" of CZ national team fame, who, due to absence and disinterest, ended up playing a less than
- marginal role, and consequently got kicked from the squad at mid-season. For a while, things were looking even more grim,
- after Amadeus decided to leave the clan - a decision that he fortunately reversed shortly afterwards. It was also a season of
- great disappointment in terms of the activity of established clan members such as Mischo, Paieeh, and EmDzej, some of whom
- will be listed as inactive from now on.

SDC II Starts!, Wednesday 24th of March by Zeager
- Since the major leagues are currently in off-season or preparing to start their
- next season, we decided to hold Season II of our Sudden Death Cup.
- Other than (SN), the following clans have accepted our invitation:
- In, MN, SK, RB, SF, LoD, PrKl, Comat, <-, R7, Terror, ah!, NMS, cB. and X`fect
- This means the starting field is 16 clans, which translates to a bracket of 3 rounds plus a final match.

Ymmees joins!, Saturday 9th of January by Zeager
- Clan Soldiers Nightmare has managed to secure the services of Ymmees.
- The clan has been interested in recruiting Ymmees for a long time, and
- thus we are very happy to see him join.
